As the fall season has wrapped up and we head into winter, we’re already turning our sights toward an exciting and meaningful Spring 2026 season at Lawrence County Youth Soccer! While the fields may be quiet for now, planning is in full swing with us getting a head start to make sure everything is in place for another fantastic season across all age groups.

Whether your child is brand new to the sport or returning for another season of growth and fun, we’re thrilled to offer even more opportunities this spring, and we have some exciting updates to share as we look ahead.

What’s Coming This Spring

The Spring season will bring back all the things families love most about LCYS: spirited practices, friendly competition, smiling kids, and plenty of moments that remind us why we do this in the first place. This season, we’re continuing with six games and multiple pre-season practices, so players have time to learn, grow, and bond as a team.

Team announcements and practice schedules will be released closer to kickoff, and we’ll continue to use our new website, LCYouthSoccer.com, as the central hub for all league information. If you haven’t already, be sure to join our mailing list, like us on Facebook, and follow our brand-new Instagram page to stay up-to-date with league news, photos, and behind-the-scenes highlights!

Our First-Ever End-of-Season Tournament

This spring, we’re thrilled to introduce something brand new: the first LCYS End-of-Season Tournament! As a fun, friendly way to cap off the season, all of our teams will have the chance to compete in a final mini-tournament. It’s a chance for players to experience a new level of excitement, for families to cheer a little louder, and for us to celebrate everyone’s hard work in a big way. More details will be shared in the weeks to come.

Thank You to Our Sponsors

None of this would be possible without the support of our generous community sponsors. From helping fund uniforms and field equipment to supporting registration scholarships for families in need, your sponsorship dollars go directly toward making the LCYS experience better for every child involved.

Thank you for believing in our mission and helping us grow.

Meet the New Board Members

We’d also like to take a moment to recognize and welcome two new faces joining the LCYS Board this year!

Nicole Napier is stepping into a vital role focusing on Events, Marketing, and Communications. From planning league-wide activities to keeping families informed through posts, updates, and outreach, Nicole is helping us build stronger connections and memorable experiences both on and off the field.

Josh Powers is taking the lead in Field and Facilities Management, ensuring our playing spaces are safe, clean, and ready for action each week. From field setup and maintenance to equipment logistics, Josh’s work will help keep game days running smoothly for every team.

These dedicated volunteers bring fresh energy, big ideas, and a shared passion for growing youth soccer in our community. We’re grateful for their time, talents, and commitment, and we're excited for what’s ahead with their support.

As always, if you have questions, ideas, or want to get involved, feel free to reach out!
